Alicia + Daniel | 2 part pre-wedding session

I remember back in may when I first heard Alicia’s voice over the other end of the phone. I called her workplace to ask if they knew who owned the lease to the empty building 2 doors down that became my studio on the 1st july last year. She was so sweet, friendly and very helpful.. It was a lovely surprise to discover she was engaged and I was thrilled when she chose me to be their wedding photographer. She is a really genuine person with a generous heart..she puts my bins out when I am not here to do it..so I owe her big time!  Daniel is such a sweetheart too..and together they are fabulous! constant sweet tormenting, mixed with lots of laughter ! For part 1 of their pre-wedding session we met up at the back of the steelworks before heading over to the jetty at lake illawarra. Both these spots are becoming favourites of mine for the lovely light and interesting textures. for part 2 , Alicia mentioned Daniel and her had been meaning to get tattoos and I literally  jumped for joy at the idea of incorporating it into their session and guestbook design. We met up at an amazing tattoo place out in Corrimal. It was a visual feast for me and lots of fun since I wasn’t getting jabbed with anything! It was the cleanest, most hygenic looking tattoo parlour I have ever been in..not that I frequent that many..and as an added bonus, the guys there were friendly, welcoming and very funny!
