I LOVE my album company! they are fun, funky, have amazing customer service and their quality is out of this world! I get so excited every time I get a delivery box from them..I don’t think the thrill of seeing my images presented so beautifully and with such quality, inside a gorgeous album will never get old.
I also love simple album designs..nothing tizzy or a photoshop sneeze. I firmly believe simple is timeless. That quality of design and construction will provide you with an album that you will love and cherish for many many years to come. It will become an heirloom, a beautiful storybook of your wedding day that your grandkids will pour over and enjoy!
That doesn’t mean you have to have a plain black leather album ..although you can if you want…but my favourite thing about my album company is their amazing collection of leathers and alternative cover materials. I love the textures of their leathers and the array of options if you want an image on the cover or something a little different as an accent. I thought I’d share a selection of some of my sample albums..most of which are replicas of the albums the couples got and I couldn’t resist ordering one for me too..LOL!
I have a thing for rectangle albums..I love that I can have the whole image with no cropping. I have 2 standard sizes; 8×12 and 10×15 but you can have a square album or a different size if you really want! I have lots of options..I just find too many options can be sometimes very confusing so I try to help narrow it down for you.
vertical or horizontal orientation? up to you..but it usually comes down to what best suits your wow factor images…
So many cover leather options are available from plain, textured, coloured, fun, funky, or shimmer…(don’t worry, I help you narrow it down if you need it!)
You can also have an image cover like the ones below (l: metal print inset in a wood grain panel, R: metal print)
or my most popular image cover is the metallic print under perspex
My other favourite thing about my album company is their ability to print across the fold of the album pages (no cutting the print so no ugly black line). I love the clean look it gives to the pages, especially if the image extends over both sides. The pages are constructed of heavy board, so they have the look of a magazine album but the pages are solid, thick and lustre coated for added protection. The images flushmount on the page and are printed on extremely high quality photo paper that can be folded without it affecting the emulsion of the paper (some other album companies tried to do this but used the wrong paper and the emulsion breaks resulting in a pink line..yuk!).

My designs are simple, not fussy or overdone (just like my images I suppose). I want those images to shine. I want the story of your day to be told in a beautiful, simple and timeless way so that your album will look good now and continue to look good for many years to come.
and for any portrait folk reading this..I also love to create albums to showcase your session. To me an album is the best way to highlight a time in your lives. A little time capsule full of moments and memories. Its the best way to get your favourites from your session in a way you can always enjoy them. There are heaps of options and sizes available..Here’s a little sneak peek from a beautiful 6×9 album created of a newborn session…it has the most lovely soft grey textured material on the cover (it feels so soft & yummy to touch)
Every album is designed to suit your needs and budget..Creating albums is one of my favourite things to do! xx jk
