I met this lovely lady when she delivered a stunning bouquet of vivid orange roses to a wedding I shot in June. We caught up again at the Bridal expo in July where I was amazed by her breathtaking, modern and fresh arrangements.., She is a beautiful person with a soft and caring spirit…go see Fiona at abode flowers .

I had the pleasure of spending some time with her family earlier in the week at the botanic gardens. Her Hubby restores furniture so they are a very creative family, and her boys are so spunky ..so much fun… We were also joined by her sister and law & fiance who were naturals in front of the camera. I had a great time wandering around the gardens with them all, enjoying chatting to them and capturing their relaxed family dynamic. The afternoon ended with a little bit of adventure as we managed to get locked into the gardens. We found a way to walk out  but Fionas car was trapped inside the carpark. Hopefully they got it out ok and it will be an afternoon to remember for happy reasons! .hehehee! Enjoy your sneak peek!!

I am blessed with clients who trust me to capture their family as they grow, and I cannot believe how much these kids have grown since I last saw them. Master D has gotten so tall, and miss R is now a willing participant..sharing her beautiful smiles with me easily. A&A are tying the knot in Feb next year and I am so thrilled for them. This gorgeous family were first cab off the rank on Sunday morning. We arrived at the gardens to find they didn’t open for about 20 minutes..but we looked sad enough at the gate that the greenkeeper let us in early! LOL! I had a fabulous time hanging out with them and capturing their little family together. The kids had the perfect mix of personality and spunk. Mum had put a lot of thought into her session and I love that she bought along a colourful bunch of balloons as a prop (with a handy weight to ensure they didn’t accidently fly away!)… Enjoy P family!check out his facial expression…priceless!

I had such a fabulous and fun sunday of mini sessions at the botanic gardens this past weekend. 3 families came to play with me at the park. I am blogging out of order as Kim would like her pics for a scrap retreat this weekend. I will be sharing the others tomorrow.. Enjoy Kim!!!

You may remember Kim from the smiley face ball session a while back..This time, she brought a different fun prop..unfortuntately 3 came into the gardens and only 2 made it out..LOL!
